AFCEE MMR Comprehensive Long Term Monitoring Plan
The Comprehensive Long Term Monitoring Plan (CLTMP) has been developed in
support of the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment's (AFCEE) Installation
Restoration Program (IRP) at the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR) on Cape
Cod. The CLTMP provides the most current monitoring networks for AFCEE’s System
Performance and Ecological Impact Monitoring (SPEIM) and Long Term Monitoring
(LTM) programs being conducted at MMR. The SPEIM program was developed to monitor
plume changes and to ensure the effective operation of the AFCEE groundwater
remediation systems at MMR. The CLTMP does not include sites at MMR under
management of others including the Impact Area Ground Water Study Program.
A more detailed discussion of SPEIM and LTM monitoring is provided by clicking
this link.
The Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plan is an accompanying document that
describes the operational strategies and sampling activities that are conducted at
the remediation system treatment plants. The O&M Plan is available on the MMR.ORG
website under
General Info/Plans & Protocols.
The Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) is an accompanying document that presents the policies, organization, functions, and specific quality assurance and quality control activities associated with collection, analysis, and reporting of data generated in support of the AFCEE SPEIM/LTM/O&M Program at the MMR. The QAPP is available on the MMR.ORG website under General Info/Plans & Protocols.
Additional information regarding AFCEE’s IRP cleanup of MMR can be found on the MMR.ORG website under General Info/General Program Information. In addition, detailed fact sheets and plume summaries are available on the MMR.ORG website under Cleanup Info/About the Cleanup.
