| Community The IRP community involvement staff provides the community and other stakeholders with information about the IRP cleanup program at MMR. This web site is one of the tools established to help meet that need. An important goal of the IRP, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has been to involve the community in the cleanup process. Several community advisory teams have been established, and a Community Involvement Plan has been developed. There are many opportunities for the public to become involved in the investigation and decision-making process in the IRP.
