2004-14 Massachusetts
Military Reservation (MMR), Cape Cod, Mass. Officials of the Air Force Center
for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) announced today that its 2003 Annual Report:
Cleaning Up the Massachusetts Military Reservation will be available in the Cape Cod
Shopper and local Enterprise newspapers. The
2003 annual report is an easy-to-read 12-page color booklet containing photographs,
charts, and bulleted text summarizing the Installation Restoration Programs soil and
groundwater cleanup efforts. Copies of the Annual Report will be distributed on Thursday,
May 20th in the Cape Cod Shopper and on Friday, May 21st in the
Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich Enterprise newspapers. Copies of the report are
also available at the Bourne, Falmouth, Mashpee, and Sandwich main libraries, town halls,
water departments, and at www.mmr.org. This
Annual Report has been developed in cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA), the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and the
Plume Cleanup Team (PCT). To
