Air Force Citizen Advisory Team meets in Bourne

MASSACHUSETTS Military Reservation, Cape Cod, Mass.Officials of the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence (AFCEE) announced today that the Plume Cleanup Team (PCT) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Bourne Best Western, 100 Trowbridge Road, Bourne.

The PCT is a citizen advisory team that provides advice to the regulatory agencies and the AFCEE Installation Restoration Program (IRP).  The IRP is responsible for groundwater and soil investigation primarily in the southern portion of the Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR).

The main meeting topics are:

  • Fuel Spill 13 Source Area Decision Document
  • Ashumet Valley Feasibility Study
  • Ashumet Valley Optimization
  • Fuel Spill 28 Leading Edge Update

A discussion period will follow each agenda presentation.
