Remedial Project/Program Managers
(RPMs) Description |
| The Remedial Project/Program
Managers (RPMs) include representatives from the Air Force Center for Environmental
Excellence (AFCEE), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency New England, Region 1
(EPA) and the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). The RPMs are
responsible for coordinating, monitoring, or directing activities pertaining to the MMR
Installation Restoration Program (IRP). The RPMs are the final decision makers for
technical issues related to project scoping, scheduling, enforceable milestones, remedial
and removal actions, and overall project management. The RPMs frequently interact with
neighborhood groups, community advisory teams (e.g., the Plume Cleanup Team [PCT]) and various
technical personnel, including the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), the
Impact Area Groundwater Study Office, and other base-related environmental offices.
